These answers are meant to be straightforward and clear as you consider whether 180 Omaha is the right fit.
No. 180 Omaha is not a rehab or clinical treatment program. It is a Christ-centered discipleship program for men who are ready to fully commit to God and pursue lasting life change through biblical teaching, accountability, and community. If medical detox or treatment is needed, that should be completed before entering the program.
No. Because 180 Omaha is a full-time, highly structured program, outside employment or schooling is not allowed while you are enrolled. The four months are set aside specifically for discipleship, recovery of healthy patterns, and focused growth without competing obligations.
Yes. Men need to be sober when they arrive. 180 Omaha does not provide medical detox. If you are actively using substances or at risk of withdrawal, we will typically recommend detox or a short-term rehab first. Once you are medically stable and sober, the program can help you build a Christ-centered life that supports ongoing sobriety and freedom.
No. Nicotine use is not allowed at 180 Omaha. This includes cigarettes, vaping, chewing tobacco, and other nicotine products. We maintain a nicotine-free environment and use regular testing to support that standard.
No. While many men come to 180 Omaha with struggles related to drugs or alcohol, the program also serves men seeking freedom from pornography, anxiety, depression, anger, and other patterns that are limiting their walk with God. The common denominator is a serious desire to follow Jesus and submit every area of life to Him.
Yes. The final 6–8 weeks of the program are focused on preparing for life after graduation. During this phase, we work with you on employment, housing, and practical next steps so that you have a realistic plan in place. While plans can change, most men leave with clear direction for work and stable living arrangements.
After completing the program, men are encouraged to stay connected. Graduates have ongoing access to groups, classes, workouts, and the broader 180 Omaha community. The goal is long-term support and connection, not just a short-term experience.
Yes. 180 Omaha is fully and unapologetically based on the Bible and following Jesus. The teaching, expectations, and community life assume a commitment to Christ and to Scripture as the authority for faith and practice.
You do not have to be from Omaha, but we generally prioritize men who are local or have a clear plan to remain connected to the area. Because long-term community and church involvement are important, staying reasonably close to Omaha often supports a more sustainable path after graduation.
The ideal candidate is a man who is ready to take responsibility for his life and choices, believes that Jesus is the solution to his deepest problems, trusts the authority of Scripture, and is willing to submit to a structured, Biblically based discipleship process. He is serious about change and open to being led, challenged, and encouraged in Christian community.
